Firstly, he became the frontman of the reasonably well-liked band RITA, a skilled vocalist whose vocals were considered some of the best in that generation. However, his name became tied inexorably to tragedy when his father Gou was one of the casualties of the Amanojaku incursion seven years ago in downtown Sendo. Gou had died saving others from the disaster, including Kazuma's mother. Kazuma had processed his loss, but something about the Amanojaku kept him hooked. In particular, the concept of a Mirager, a person that could fight the Amanojaku, who had apparently appeared that day to fight the Amanojaku. A young girl in silver - who then disappeared. And then, one day, government types approached him with a proposition - they were founding a Tactical Sound Unit, a group who could fight the Amanojaku, and needed skilled volunteers. He put two and two together, and realised that this would be the best way to pay what he owed that Mirager back - he couldn't thank her, but without her, his mother would not have made it. Kazuma leapt at the opportunity, and became one of the first members of the Tactical Sound Unit EUFON. He became one of the first EUFON Miragers, forming a fast friendship with Haruka Shirokawa, another Mirager who lost a sibling in the Amanojaku attack. The two of them were the original EUFON Miragers and ran missions together, Haruka as the finesse to Kazuma's force. Their leaders opined they needed a few more Miragers, however, with the Amanojaku continuing to attack. As such, Kazuma and Haruka suggested that they gain a civilian cover of two units of singers. After much work, two units were born - Kazuma would be the center for KNIGHTMARES, while Haruka would be the center for Afternoon. He also got into contact with an old friend of his from his RITA days, the front woman of Shinken Rocket Minako Shirogane - while she was interested, she ultimately declined due to her work with Fire Soul. Now, today, Kazuma is attending the concert - a once in a lifetime collaboration between the Queens of Music, the best female singers of the generation - out of solidarity for his friend. He expects nothing - after all, the Queens of Music concert isn't meant as a way of drawing out or bansihing the Amanojaku's influence, but a simple fundraising exercise. After all, maintaining Mirages is expensive.
